My old boss and current pastor always used to tell our youth staff to take "snapshots" of what was happening on trips, in bible studies, in one on one conversations, and in people's lives, including our own, so that we would not forget what our great God has done!
So here are a few of my favorite snapshots from this past week in Florida... some captured with the camera, but the best captured with the heart...
My first night there, singing and having this overwhelming feeling that I was made for exactly this.
Getting to know a precious new friend, Jenny, as we sat in the Panama City Beach Medical Clinic while she was tested for strep and mono- thankfully, both of which came up negative.
My volleyball team, "The Lamberthas" nearly winning our first game in 2 years and yet tragically going completely defeated again this year!!

The sweet reunion of staff who have served at PCPC over the past 5 years!

Laughing at Mary Claire as she totally ate it on the roller-skating rink, and then being completely humbled as I wiped out as well while racing Carol around that last turn.
Watching my incredible staff friends be completely honest and vulnerable about their lives in front of 200 high school kids in the 'real life'.
Seeing my girls who just graduated from high school give their lives away to younger students and having so much joy in doing so!

The way God caused each of us to come face to face with who and where we really were, and the how he showed us the passionate, pursuing, personal grace of the Father that comes out to us in exactly that place.
The days when the sun didn't shine and we were able to just sit out on the beach for hours just talking.

Staying up until 630 in the morning to see the sunrise with my girls, only to be extremely disappointed when we were not met with the sun but with a torrential downpour and flash-flood instead.

All the long walks on the beach where I was able to talk about the amazing gospel and goodness of God with girls who I love more than life itself.
Seeing a few of my girls have the courage to stand up in front of all their peers on the last and be so honest about where they have been and speak with such joy and hope about what God is doing in their lives!
Truly seeing God's goodness and faithfulness in the lives of these precious girls he has placed in my life!
Singing "It is Well with my Soul" that last night- the tears that wouldn't stop coming with the reality that as I loaded that bus, it was all over- this season of my life. The heartbreak that exists, but also the heart- joy- what a good, great, glorious season this has been. And I am so thankful to the Lord for it!

Thank you, Lord... for this trip, for these girls, for this life that you have blessed me with- as it all comes to a close, I am overwhelmed with your goodness, overwhelmed with your grace, overwhelmed with joy! It truly is and truly has been well with my soul!
