This morning, 4 charter buses pulled out of the PCPC parking lot carrying nearly 200 high school kids and a bunch of leaders off to the sunny and sandy beaches of Panama City, Florida for our churches annual "Florida Trip." (We are really creative on the names!!)
Because of Tommy and Jessica's wedding, I unfortunately had to miss the bus ride down. I am so sad that I missed it! I just love watching the Princess Bride for the 100th time and playing MASH, while sitting squished in the back seat near the bathroom where it smells sensational and every time you stand up you crunch cheetoes under your feet! Who wouldn't?
Ok, confession... I actually do love MASH. And might have to play a few games by myself on the plane tomorrow! Didn't you love it when you used to get to mary your crush, you lived in a toilet, and had 17 children! Gosh, those were the good old days!
Anyways, I am catching a plane in the morning at 7 to head down! (What was I smoking when I booked that flight?!?!) But seriously, I cannot wait to get there! I would really love your prayers...
Mainly, that the student's hearts would be captivated and transformed by the gospel! On this trip we take a mixture of students who are really passionate about Jesus, some that are churched but apathetic or struggling, and some that are really lost! Our speaker is speaking out of Luke 15, the "lost" parables, and I am praying that the word of God truly pierces our students hearts and changes their lives!
Would love your prayers for wisdom, I am teaching a seminar on Wednesday for the girls on Sex, Dating, and Marriage with the context of Gen. 1-3- Creation, Fall, and Redemption!
Would also love your prayers for strength! We (me and 3 other leaders who I just love) are in a cabin with 28 16-year old girls- in a cabin that only sleeps 23! The girls have warned me that I absolutely won't be sleeping this week, and I am thinking they are probably right!
Well, seeing as I have to get up in 5 hours, I am going to bed. Will miss the blogging while on the beach...
Ok, probably not. But I'll be sure to update you when I get back! Thanks for your prayers!

Have fun sis! I'll miss you this week!
