TOMmy and Jessica

This weekend my cousin Tommy is getting married and giving our family the sweetest gift possible, his incredible bride Jessica! I really love Jessica and admire her so much. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out. And she truly has the kindest heart of anyone around. One expression of her kind and tender heart was how she wanted to spend tonight, her last night before all the wedding festivities start and she is a married woman- a Lamberth, which is a pretty frightening thing in its own right! 

Tonight, Jessica had us all (her sweet friends and the girls in our family) over to her apartment for a TOMS decorating party! For those of you who don't know, TOMS Shoes is an incredible, charitable company that for every pair of shoes you buy, they donate one to a child in need. 

Ok, let's be honest...I am sure all you bloggers are far more familiar with TOMS shoes than I am, seeing as I just bought my first pair today. I figure you blogger-types are also the TOMS shoes- wearing types. I am excited that now I can be "in" with all my blogger friends...and maybe"in" with all my blogger friends that actually don't know that I exist, but whose blogs on international adoptions, charity water, and inner-city ministry that I frequently stalk! 

But anyways, I digress...

 Tonight, I got to decorate my very own pair of TOMS shoes! My friends at dinner were none too encouraging and none too confident in my ability to decorate a cute pair of shoes. So for all you doubters, jokes on you. Look how great I did...

Ok well actually, joke's on me! Those aren't mine but some other girl's I stole for a picture. THESE are mine! 

Well, while my lack of artistic ability once again became lucidly evident! We had a great time!

Oh, and while we are on the subject of the shoes, can anyone help me locate the TOMS shoe guy?!?!?! I've seen him on those cell phone commercials and he's pretty cute...
