Overwhelmingly Blessed...

One of things I have noticed in Scripture lately is the lavish language that the authors will sometimes employ- like they are reaching for words to describe something that is actually indescribable.

That is how I feel this morning- there really are not words to expressed how humbled, blessed, and encouraged I feel. Last night my friends, my girls, and their families from our church threw me a surprise going away party- and truly, it could not have meant more to me. All my favorite people, all my favorite things (the only things they had to drink were diet coke and water:))

To all of you that were there and who made it possible, I just wanted to say THANK YOU...thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for your presence, the words you said, the cards you wrote, gifts you gave, poems you wrote, the videos you made, embarrassing things you exposed about me! It all meant so much to me...so much more than you will know!

Truly, the word I have to describe it is overwhelmed- in such a good way! Overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. Overwhelmed by the richest blessing it has been to be a part of your lives. Overwhelmed by how the Lord has graciously allowed me to see and experience his immeasurable love, abundant life, full joy, and bountiful grace through each of you- not just last night, but over all these many years! I thank the Lord for each of your lives and for placing them in mine!

Thank you, thank you! I love you all!

Here is a little video that my amazing sophomore girls made! It is absolutely hysterical, and sadly, close to real life! Girls, I loved it so much and of course, love ya'll! Carol, impressed at how you played me so well. Hope you all enjoy it!

Seniors, I would publish the poem, however, there may be too many embarrassing things embedded in there that I do not want out there on the world wide web! I will have you know that I have re-read it like 8 times, and laugh, probably at different parts each and every time! I love you guys!
