Well, as you can see my blog has a brand new look... thanks to my sweet friend, Marina. I entered her "blog makeover" give-away contest a few weeks ago, and by some amazing stroke of luck, I WON! And here is the result!
Marina and I met at A&M where we were both Theta's together. Our friendship was really bonded one year during rush (strangely enough, my very favorite time of sorority life!), and has continued throughout all these years. She and her husband Chris are expecting their first baby this summer. Marina is so genuine, creative, loyal, and has the kindest heart. And not to mention EXTREMELY creative and talented. She designs all sorts of stuff, so please head on over Penny Lane Designs and check out all of her stuff for all your blogging, invitation, and other design needs!
Thank you so much, sweet friend! Love you!

Hey Caroline, saw on facebook that your blog had a new look so decided to check it out. What an offer you received down in Austin!!! Ha.
ReplyDeleteHeading up to Westminster eh? Sounds very cool. We actually know some a young family (our age, married, a couple of kids) that are up there right now. Blessings on the transition.
Love your new look! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteYou are too sweet! Maybe it's because I'm 5 months prego, but your post almost made me cry. haha. Love you Caro!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the congrats. We're excited.
ReplyDeleteWe are currently in Bryan, TX actually. I'm teaching humanities (H/E) at a school like TCA, though of the Aggieland variety. 2nd year there. It's going well, but its not the long term plan. We were actually just up in Boston and DC and had considered visiting Philly over spring break. I was checking out law schools there (though that is on the DL because I'm planning on teaching here one more year).
Our friends aren't actually at WTS, but are in Philadelphia. He's been doing his residency for med school, or something like that. Anyways, Becky Baskin (the wife--you can find her on facebook) was a roommate of my wife's in college. So, look her up and just tell her you are a friend of mine. They're great.
How'd you decide on Westminster in Philly anyways? There's a campus in Dallas, right?
